MBA at University Canada West

The ACBSP and NCMA-accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from UCW will prepare you for success on a global level. You will learn how to take challenging situations in a stride, apply pragmatic solutions to problems and ultimately drive the success of your organization through intelligent decision-making. 

The MBA program also includes relevant digital components. The university collaborates with digital leaders such as Riipen, the Digital Marketing Institute, Salesforce (Trailhead), Tableau and IBM to keep their students updated with upcoming technological trends.  

UCW continues its evolution towards becoming Vancouver’s tech-business university. They’ve partnered with leading business and tech companies such as Salesforce, Amazon, Shopify, Facebook and many others to incorporate their latest technology and expertise into the Master of Business Administration program courses at UCW.

Entry requirements

A Bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognized post-secondary institution, with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.33 scale) or better and must have one of the following:

  • A suitable score on a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) that has been written in the last five years.
  • A relevant Canadian professional designation or equivalent international designation (e.g. CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, CHRP or P.Eng).
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Commerce (BCom) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three (3) years documented professional or management experience with evidence of career progression and relevant education and/or training.

 

Advantages of studying in the MBA program:

  • Good university ranking for employment and issuing a Study Permit;⠀
  • Excellent cost for an MBA (CAD 35,100 for a two-year program of study), It is cheaper than any Canadian college;⠀
  • 3-year Post Graduation Work Permit after training;⠀
  • The duration of the program is 2 years, but the student can complete it in 1.5 years and still apply for a 3-year work permit;⠀
  • If, for some reason, you do not hold all of the above academic and professional requirements, you may also qualify for entry to the MBA Program after completing the MBA Foundation program (cost – CAD 7020).

Tuition fees

CAD 35,100 for the entire program (2 years of study)

A scholarship of CAD 9720 is available for students from CIS countries. The scholarship is divided between semesters and will be applied from the second one if the academic performance during the first semester is at least 72%.

A pleasant exception to the rule: our student Alexander received the full scholarship immediately upon admission. We are proud and happy.
