Education and Immigration to New Zealand for Farmers

Agriculture and farming – the largest and most important industries for New Zealand’s economy. The country produces several times more food than its population needs and actively exports to other nations. At the same time, in terms of science, technology, and business management, New Zealand is one of the world leaders in agribusiness.

Foreigners have the opportunity to move to New Zealand through education in this field. Moreover, Dairy Farmers are included on the Green List of in-demand occupations. Let’s take a closer look at the opportunities for studying, working, and immigrating through farming and agriculture.

There are training programs designed for those who have no prior education or experience in the industry, as well as for those with limited experience or a vocational qualification. These programs can even lead to gaining an in-demand occupation and a work visa upon completion, which opens the door to residency opportunities in the future.
