Lincoln University is the 3rd oldest university in New Zealand with more than 140 years of experience. It is rated among the top 1.5% global QS World University Rankings 2020-21 and in the top 100 for specialist land-based Agriculture and Forestry education.
The university offers a number of scholarships for international students for November 2021 and February 2022 intakes.
International taught master merit scholarships
Apply before 30 October 2021
Qualifying international students will be awarded with a scholarship of NZ$7,000 – NZ$10,000 towards the overall cost of their study in one of the 180 credit taught master’s programmes:
NZ$10,000 – for the following programmes:
- Master of Business – Global Management and Marketing
- Master of Business – Finance
- Master of Professional Accounting (CPA)
- Master of Management in Agribusiness
- Master of Management in Agricultural Systems
- Master of Sports and Recreation Management
- Master of Tourism Management
NZ$7000 – for the following programmes:
- Master of Applied Computing
- Master of Pest Management
- Master of Precision Agriculture
- Master of Science in Food Innovation
- Master of Environment Policy and Management
- Master of Wine and Viticulture
Students must have a GPA of at least B+ average in the last year of their bachelor’s degree to meet requirements. No separate application is required. Lincoln will assess and offer the scholarship automatically to qualifying international students.

Any student who successfully completes a minimum of 12 weeks of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) will receive a fees rebate award when they enrol in the next academic programme.

Scholarships valued at NZ$2,500 are available for new students seeking admission into the Certificate in University Studies or Diploma in University Studies programmes.
