There is a shortage of aged and disability care workers in New Zealand’s healthcare sector. To address this, a dedicated immigration pathway – Care Workforce Work to Residence – has been introduced specifically for professionals in this field.
The New Zealand School of Vocational Education and Training (NZSVET) offers training programmes that lead to a recognised qualification in aged and disability care, significantly increasing your chances of employment in the sector and future immigration opportunities.
Benefits of this training:
- Earning a New Zealand qualification, recognised both locally and internationally
- Guaranteed practical placement during your studies
- Strong industry connections and access to job opportunities in the healthcare sector
- High chances of obtaining an Accredited Employer Work Visa from approved employers
- Pathway to residency after working for 2 years or more with a qualifying salary
Attention! These programs do not lead to getting Post Study Work Visa. How you can stay in the country after completing a program, read below.
